Breakfast to go?

The new breakfast bags on Club sleeper service flights from New York will help maximise rest time on board.

Enhancements have been made to the service on offer in Club World on overnight flights from New York’s JFK and Newark airports. Customers can now pre-order their breakfast before settling down to rest and will be given the option of taking away a breakfast bag containing juice, a muffin and muesli to enjoy after landing. Many Club World customers choose to eat in the lounge prior to their flight, but those who want a meal on board will now have it delivered by hand, rather than on a trolley, to minimise the noise in the cabin. They will also be handed their bottle of water on boarding, as they are settling into their seat, rather than after the meal service.

Kate Thornton, head of product and service for British Airways, says: “We know our customers on these in-bound flights from New York value their sleep above all else, so by tailoring our service and making these simple but effective changes, they’ll be able to maximise their rest time on board and arrive ready to take on a busy day at work.”
